MARVEL STUDIOS
WANDAVISION
TITLE SEQUENCE
As Marvel Studios prepared their first foray into streaming television, they turned to my team (at Perception) to create everything from a cinematic title sequence to era-accurate typography and even a replica of the Family Ties intro.
The 'main-on-end' title sequence for episode 1 of WandaVision.
A CINEMATIC EPILOGUE
We worked closely with Marvel to ensure that the otherwise 'period-correct' episodes would conclude with an epic title sequence that would ground it in the greater Marvel Universe.
"When I was a kid, I'd press my nose against the TV. It felt dangerous. The WandaVision title sequence is my love-letter to the unfathomable inner-workings of that glass tube."
The over-arching theme of 'pixels' was the launchpad for every creative decision to follow.
A MULTIVERSE OF DESIGN CHALLENGES
Beyond the sleek main-on-end sequence, my team created a wide range of additional sequences seen throughout the 9 episodes of Wandavision.
